If you enjoy fairy tales, poetic prose, and introspection, then you’ve come to the right place. I am a firm believer in the power of words to provide comfort and escape, and also to push our boundaries and broaden our horizons. My personal experiences with mental illness, trauma, and chronic disease color everything I write. With all of my creative endeavors, I hope to spread awareness, understanding, and a sense that, whatever you may be suffering with, you are not alone.
I earned my Honors Bachelor of Arts from the University of Utah, where I studied English with a minor in Philosophy. Post-graduation, I have worked in the fields of editing, education, and insurance. Currently, I am the social media director as well as a member of the regular cast for The Dimension Door Podcast, an actual-play of a tabletop role-playing game campaign using the Pathfinder 1E game system, in which I play the character Vasilisa Morozova. I also write the novel-like narrative adaption of that podcast’s campaign.
In addition to writing for The Dimension Door, I am currently querying for my dark, psychological novelization of Snow White, Crimson Curse. I also continue to write poetry and short stories. My writing style has been critically described as “melodious madness,” which is a label I happily embrace as accurate.
When I’m not writing or gaming, I am often in my kitchen. While I do cook and bake, I especially enjoy playing around with mixology. I am currently working on creating a YouTube channel to feature some of my non-alcoholic mixed drink recipes, so look forward to some Dressing Up Drinks content, coming soon.

    • Available here
  • Crimson Curse
    • A king, determined not to repeat past mistakes. A princess, haunted and isolated. A Queen who will not be denied. This is a dark psychological tale that reads like literary fantasy, but sets Snow White’s once upon a time in a speculative future.
